The Nevada State Board of Cosmetology commenced a collaborative project to identify consumer risks in common beauty services in February 2018.  After 30+ months of collaboration with 40+ individuals licensed in 16 different state jurisdictions and holding multiple stakeholder positions within the professional beauty industry, the Board was presented with The Nevada Report: Identifying Risks in Beauty Services at the October 12, 2020 board meeting and the Board voted to approve the report as a living document.
